450 kids could get 50% off, and 50 kids could do camping free of charge. Never before were we able to distribute so many scholarships than this year. While Hungary has been going through a great economic crisis, while many Hungarian church and secular camps decided not to open this year, we were able to maintain our numbers from last year, for which we praise our Provider. 750 kids enjoyed camping, and about 200 of them trusted Jesus Christ for their salvation. Please enjoy some of their testimonies. In accordance with Hungarian law, I can only give you the initial of the first names

My parents divorced and my mom is getting married to my step-father, whom I really love. My parents are Christians, I have a sister. My favorite things at camp are the Bible hours and the games. It was Tuesday when Laci told us that it is not required but if someone wants to pray the prayer after him, then do it, and I did. This decision was important, because I can only go to heaven if I believe in Jesus. Please pray for my dad who smokes, and because of that I’m afraid he is going to die.

I have 4 siblings, my parents are Christians. We go to a Baptist church. I got saved in this camp, and I believe, that this decision is important, because that is the way to heaven. I really like the Bible hours, specially when Istvan Madarasz is the preacher, because he talks to the children in a way that they can understand it, but when I’m in church, I feel that the preacher is not really into it. This camp helped me to understand that I won’t go to hell after I got saved, even if I do something bad after it. I didn’t know that before. This is my third time here in this camp and I hope I will come again!

I was born into a Christian family, but I got saved here at camp. My mom takes us to church regularly, and my dad believes in God but doesn’t go to church with us often. I have two siblings. I know I will go to heaven no matter when I die. I’m a friend of Christ, and it’s much easier to live my life this way. I want to read the Bible everyday, pray and act in a way that is pleasing Him. I love the English instructions, because we have really nice teachers. I also love the program, because it varies from day to day.

My parents are Catholics, I have a brother. I used to go to church but I don’t have time for it nowadays. I heard the gospel before, but then I thought I have time… But at this camp they gave us a chance to be saved, and I felt that I have to make this decision also. I learned a lot of new stuff at this camp that I didn’t know about, and it also reminded me of things I have heard before. The camp also encouraged me to believe in God and to pray. I know if I die I will go to heaven. This is my first time at camp and I love it, mainly the playground, instructions, meetings.

I have two siblings, my parents divorced and only my mother is a believer. We attend a Baptist church. This is my second time here, my favorite thing is soccer. I heard the gospel before, but I only made a decision here, at camp. I know that I will go to heaven when I die. When I go home, I’m going to talk about my decision to my classmates, so that they can be saved too.

I come from a sort of Christian family. My classmates didn’t really like me, but now they start to accept me. We go to a Catholic church on Sundays. I believe that we have to have a personal relationship with God. I really like the fact that there are a lot of people here just like me. The Bible hours were good reminders. At school I try to talk about my faith and share my view on it with my classmates.

My parents divorced. I live with my mother, who is a Christian. We don’t go to church regularly, just time to time. This is my second time here, and I love it a lot. My favorite part is the games. It’s so cool that even though it’s a Christian camp, we can laugh so much, and spend a lot of time with God. I got saved this Tuesday. I go to a school where I face a lot of bad influence, and this camp helped me a lot to be able to handle those temptations with God. Please pray that I will love people more and that I would be less critic.

My mom loves God a lot, but my dad doesn’t really. He gets angry a lot of times and mad at us. I have 3 siblings. This is my first time here at camp, and I love the English instructions, games, conversations. I loved the illustrations at the meetings, they made me think. It was also good to hear about honoring our parents because I struggle with that. I got saved this Tuesday. This camp helped me to make this decision, and I am so glad I could share my testimony at the camp fire. Please pray that my parents will not divorce.

This is my first time here at camp. Everyone is so joyful here, and that made me think. My parents divorced and I live with my mom, who is not a Christian. I have an older sister. I was lonely for a long time, and I felt there is something missing from my life. At the meetings they were talking about the fact that we need to know where we stand. I knew I have to make a decision, because I can’t be here and there. That’s why I made a decision to give my life to Jesus, to trust in Him. I go to a youth group sometimes. This camp helped me understand some basic truth. I really enjoyed it. Please pray that I can stay firm in my faith, and that my not Christian friends would not influence me in a bad way.
